About the Event
NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies.
Join Indivisible High Country (formerly Indivisible Watauga) and The Proverbs 19:17 Project for a No Kings sidewalk parade and rally from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.
A slightly updated plan (details keep unfolding so sign up or watch for alerts on the Indivisible Watauga Facebook Page): We will start lining up for the parade at 9:30 am behind Badger Funeral Home at 303 School Ave, West Jefferson, NC 28694 . There will be plenty of parking including handicapped. We walk a 0.5 mile loop through town. The rally will start after the parade at 11:00 am across from Ashe Arts Center. Bring lawn chairs. Safety marshals will direct you to parking areas.
